An autumn weekend in Puerto Andratx
Autumn in Mallorca is authentically a second spring, the combination of heat and humidity causes a second flowering of many plants what makes this time of year to be a truly wonderful to stroll through its nature and in such amazing environments like the Port Andratx and its neighboring towns. Andratx is a small municipality located in Serra de Tramuntana whose route takes no more than one morning. Among the must that you should visit are the neighborhood of El Pantaleu, the oldest in the area, the Church of Santa Maria de Andratx and the beautiful Port d'Andratx. Among the potential trips, you can’t miss a visit to Natural Park of Sa Dragonera.
Both during the day and night, animation focuses on the many shops, terraces and restaurants promenade. In the pier we found La Lonja, recommended to visit in the evening when the fresh fish of the day is sold. Nuestra Señora del Carmen church was built in the early twentieth century. Another of the visitable spaces is the Liedtke Museum.
Another excursion no one should miss is a visit to Cala en Fonoll, near Cala Moragues, a small cove with huge stones and rocks hard to reach on foot but which gives the privilege of wonderful views of the Port of Andratx and being unfrequented for being a little difficult to reach it. More activities to be done are the sports, you can choose among scuba diving, canoeing, mountain climbing, horse riding, cycling tours cycling routes in the area and among a variety, golf, excellent facilities considered among the best of Europe.
Surely, a weekend for their roads, beaches and sunsets have been enough to decide to buy a villa or apartment in Port d'Andratx, this wonderful fishing village, now famous for its recreational boating activity and desired cosmopolitan atmosphere.
