Founded by Swedish pioneer Stellan Lundquist, it cultivates just over 85 hectares of vineyards on Mallorca and uses both International varieties in its production, like Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Merlot as well as the unique indigenous Mallorcan grapes; Prensal Blanc, Mantonegro and CalletFounded. In just 1985, the winery has since achieved International acclaim for its award-winning wines.
Enjoy the contemporany art exposed in CCA Andratx: Located on the southside of the Tramuntana Mountains, only 30 min. away from Palma, the CCA Andratx, founded in 2001 by Jacob and Patricia Asbaek, is dedicated to the creation and exhibition of Contemporary Art. It offers a unique cultural experience, and the Studio Program is open to national and international artists. CCA is one of the largest centres of Contemporary Art in the Balearic Islands as well as in the rest of Europe.
Mix with locals and visitors in the market of Andratx that takes place every wednesday of the month, in the streets of Andratx . In it you can find a wide selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, crafts, typical products, flowers, clothes... You can also visit the market of S'Arracó that take place on Saturdays in the town square. The market is smaller than the Andratx market but has lots of charm.
